Charmoula is a fragrant Middle Eastern Condiment that is traditionally paired with seafood.  The sweetness of the carrot pairs very well with the toasted spices in the dressing.  

The earthy, anise flavored herbs are a perfect pair for the sweet  corn.  Store extra butter in the freezer to keep the herbs fresh.  

To cook the corn:  Bring a large pot of water to the boil.  Place shucked corn in for 2 minutes.  Serve immediately with lots of herb butter!

If you want a cool science experiment you can eat, try fermenting your own sauerkraut.  Sauerkraut translates to “sour cabbage” and its sourness comes from the lacto-fermentation of yogurt whey and un-iodized salt. It’s easy, and relatively cheap, and well worth the wait!

A hearty but healthy breakfast or brunch skillet.  Easily prepared in advanced, and finished with the eggs. Swap out potatoes with sweet potatoes for a complex flavor pairing.
